Recent college assessments

Helloooooooo,
I have just been looking through my photos from the recent college assessments we did on wednesday and I thought id share some of the photos on here to show you all the make up I did.

The theme of our assessments was High Fashion/Vogue and Avant Garde and we had to create 2 looks, one for high fashion and one for avant garde.  My model is my beautiful friend Chloe and it was a lot of fun creating these looks and i was really happy with my eyebrow blocking on the avant garde pictures as i have been struggling to try and get it right!

Here is a few of the High Fashion/Vogue:

The products I used to achieve this look were:
BASE: Rimmel lasting finish foundation in soft beige, MAC mineralise founation in NW20, MUA bb cream in light rose, Kryolan supra palette, MAC studio fix powder in C35.
EYES: MUA poptastic palette (gold), Barry M dazzle dust in orange, MUA undressed palette (brown), Kryolan supra palette (eyebrows).
BLUSHER: Kryolan blusher palette (mix of orange and light pink), E.L.F Bronzer.
LIPS: Rimmel lipstick in Indulgence, Kryolan mini rouge palette (silver and light pink).

This was inspired by fire and autumnal colours and i wanted the colours to still be quite vivid but also be quite soft aswell to create a smokey effects.  I also wanted to use sharp lines aswell to give the make up a strong, structured shape.

Here is a few from the Avant Garde shoot:

The products I used to achieve this look were:
BASE: Kryolan TV paint stick in 1W, Kryolan translucent powder, Kryolan supra palette.
BLOCKED EYEBROWS: Spirit gum, Kryolan eyebrow plastic.
EYES/EYEBROWS: Snazaroo face paint in black.
BLUSHER: Kryolan blusher palette (light pink and dark pink).
LIPS: Kryolan supra palette (blue), snazaroo face paint in black.

This looks was inspired from previous make up campaigns, mainly Beth Ditto for MAC and Illamasqua make up done by Alex Box who is ahhhhmaaaazzzinnnngggg.  I thought these 2 make ups looks very doll like so i took inspiration from that aswell.  I used eyelashes to exaggerate Chloe's eyes and by eyebrow blocking, i have created more space to expand my eye make up and make the eyes appear bigger.

I hope you like these looks and please feel free to feedback to me :)

Hello there!

After much thought over the past few weeks i have decided to join the blogging community!
I will be posting various make ups on here and listing products i have used and inspirations for the make ups i have created.
I am aiming to do weekly themed make up and posting the pictures on here and it would be good to hear some suggestions for make up themes from you too.
I will probably have the occasional babble and moan from time to time but hey who doesn't!

Looking forward to finally getting this blog up and running and I hope you like what i have created, please feel free to comment with feedback and suggestions or just a general chat :)
